The MICDS Boys Cross Country team earned 4 Medals recognizing their top 15 place finishes in the Metro League Meet on Thursday.

Congratulations to Heru Bey (3rd), Forest Gong (11th), Shil Penilla (12th), and Cyrus Kummer (14th) for earning these league honors in a tough race over a demanding course at The Principia School.

Though the course terrain proved challenging (perhaps the most challenging course we've face so far in the season), personal records were still set by Forest Gong (18:10.4), Luke McGinness (19:18.8), Will Fendler (19:30.7), Charlie Cunningham (21:33.3), Neel Sarikonda (23:42.1) and Harold Lang (24:25.1)!

MICDS placed 2nd in the team standings behind Westminster and ahead of John Burroughs, Priory, Lutheran South and Whitfield.

The focus now turns to the Class 3 District 1 Meet ($6.00 admission) on Saturday November 1 at the Arcadia Valley Sports Complex in Ironton, Missouri to see which teams (top 4) and individuals (top 30) will qualify for the State Championship Meet on the Gans Creek course in Columbia, Missouri on Friday, November 7, at 9:00 AM.
