Katherine Fraley grew up here in St. Louis and graduated from MICDS in 2015. As a student, she was part of the cheerleading team and has so many great memories from her time on the sidelines supporting her classmates. Since 2021 she’s had the chance to coach both cheerleading and lacrosse, two sports that let her combine her love for teamwork, positivity and community.

Returning to her alma mater to coach has been especially meaningful for Katherine. She chose to come back to MICDS because of the profound impact the school had on her own development. She loves helping current students create the same kind of unforgettable experiences she had, and seeing them grow in confidence, leadership, and friendship has been the most rewarding part of her coaching journey.

Although this is her last year coaching, Katherine is so grateful for the opportunity to return to MICDS as both a faculty member and alum. Being back on campus, watching the student athletes grow, and cheering them on has brought her so much joy.
